Inspired by the Neo-Futurists, The PANTS Co. attempts to perform 30 outrageous, hilarious, curious, uncomfortable, poignant, gut-wrenching, and unabashedly original plays in one whirlwind-of-an hour. Fresh, and made-to-order, no two shows are ever the same!

Ensemble: Annie Lemmon, Melissa Williams-Meyer, Lexey Jost, Landon Noll, Elliott Brest, and Brandon J.

"Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind" was created and perfected by The Neo-Futurists in Chicago with a simple enough premise:

Perform 30 plays in 60 minutes
in an order determined by the audience.

The show opened in 1988, and was so successful it continued to run every weekend since and now lives under the title "The Infinite Wrench". Inspired, The PANTS Co. made their own outrageously daring attempt at writing and performing 30 original plays.

Established in 2010 at Emporia State University with just a few people, The Pantomime and Non-Traditional Theatre Society spent over a decade and countless digital sheets of paper writing over 300 plays, and gaining over 50 members with chapters in Lawrence, in Wichita, and most recently in Kansas City. This one-of-a-kind* DIY company refuses to put on anything but provocative and emotional productions that make every lasting impression imaginable.
